Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Collapso travel solutions
How much space do Collapso bags save when stored?
When collapsed, our bags reduce to just 7cm depth (vs 23cm expanded), fitting easily under beds, in closets, or on shelves - saving up to 70% storage space compared to traditional hard-shell luggage.
How does the collapsible feature work?
Collapso bags are engineered to fold flat when not in use, making storage easy in closets, under beds, or in tight spaces—without compromising structure when fully expanded. The expandable section is reinforced and built into the bag's structure, allowing for added capacity without sacrificing stability or performance during travel.
What are the dimensions of Collapso bags?
16-Inch Travel Mini (Travel-Ready)
- Length: 18 in
- Width: 13 in
- Depth: Up to 8 in (packing-dependent)
- Weight capacity: Up to 15 lb
- Recommended load: ~12 lb for optimal fit and performance
Designed to fit most airline personal-item sizers when packed within recommended limits.
20-Inch Carry-On (Travel-Ready)
- Length: 21.3 in
- Width: 14 in
- Depth: Up to 9 in (packing-dependent)
- Weight capacity: 15–22 lb
- Recommended load: ~18 lb for optimal fit and performance
Designed to fit standard airline carry-on sizers when packed thoughtfully.
Packing & fit note: Depth is affected by how the bag is packed. Overpacking may increase depth beyond airline limits and affect fit in airline sizers.
Are your bags carry-on compliant?
Yes, our luggage is designed to comply with most standard airline carry-on and personal-item size requirements. Because Collapso bags are carry-on and personal-size luggage, they stay with you throughout your journey and are not checked or handled by airline baggage systems. We recommend reviewing individual product specifications and your airline's guidelines before traveling.
What materials are your travel bags made from?
Our collapsible suitcases are constructed from a durable ABS + polycarbonate (PC) hardshell, engineered to be lightweight, impact-resistant, and scratch-resistant. Reinforced corners and structured panels provide stability during travel while allowing each bag to collapse for compact storage when not in use.
What is your return, exchange, and warranty policy?
We accept returns on unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges for a different size or color may be available, subject to inventory.
Collapso offers a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect is identified under normal use, we will assess the item and, at our discretion, repair or replace the product in accordance with our warranty policy.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping times and costs vary by destination. Free shipping is available on orders over $150 within the continental United States.
Do you make larger luggage sizes?
At this time, Collapso focuses exclusively on carry-on and personal-size luggage. We designed our bags to eliminate the hassle of checked luggage while maximizing flexibility, convenience, and smart storage. Larger sizes may be considered in the future, but our current collection is intentionally built for travelers who prefer to keep their bags with them.
